In a world filled with propaganda

Authority figures that abuse power

Strong that devours the weak

Who shall dare speak

About this injustice

Beware for you shall become the next target

Children abandoned by their mothers

For a hit of that glass pipe

Young girls turned out by pimps

To sell their bodies at night

Tell me what's right

Under the red, white, and blue

Or maybe it's like glue

I shall speak the truth

Even if it incriminates me

If I didn't

How could I be the Conquering Lion?

When I am lying?

Those that defy

Shall die.

I could not pick just one out of them all

Winter snow

Seasons Greeting

Children laughing and singing about

What I love most about winter is

Couples keeping warm during a snow storm

Spring is what I like to call summer's eve

When the sun goes down and no one's around

I like to listen to the world

Hear songs from a tree

Carried by the wind

Think about friends I'll never see again in this life

Oh it just might be as delightful as the summers pleasant treats

Water falls in the street

Ice cream trucks greet you on every corner

Warmer than the spring

If only I had wings

I would fly away

Not to a different place

But to take my place in the clouds

Only to come down and play with the leaves

Falling from falls lovely hands

Now I understand

She sits in the back filled with joy

As she looks at her new baby boy

All of a sudden the driver sees tears

Not knowing what to do
